Under the policy, residents developing community-based tourism can access loans to build or renovate traditional houses into homestays, purchase equipment, and develop traditional crafts and agricultural products for tourism.

Individuals can borrow up to VND 500 million, while households can borrow up to VND 1.5 billion, with a maximum loan term of 60 months. Interest rates will vary by area.

Businesses, cooperatives, cooperative groups and household businesses can also access loans of up to VND 2.5 billion per facility to build, upgrade and improve tourist sites.

The province will also support the development of visitor reception and information points, as well as areas for displaying and promoting OCOP products, local specialties and souvenirs.

Each year, the province will allocate funds through the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies to implement the program, helping tap local tourism potential, increase incomes and create sustainable livelihoods for residents.
