During an inspection of the Lead-Zinc Non-Ferrous Metal Processing Plant project in Cho Don Commune, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan stressed the need to promote deep mineral processing, enhance the value of local mineral resources, and develop a strong network of domestic suppliers capable of meeting the needs of major FDI enterprises in the province.
According to the Management Board of Thai Nguyen Industrial Parks, the province's industrial parks attracted more than US$2.057 billion in foreign direct investment (FDI) and over VND1,528 billion in domestic direct investment (DDI) during the second quarter of 2026.
As of June 19, total foreign direct investment (FDI) into industrial parks in Thai Nguyen Province has reached USD 8 billion. This marks the highest FDI inflow to date, helping Thai Nguyen maintain its position as the national leader in foreign investment attraction in 2026.
