At many locations across the province, mooncake stalls have been set up, and products are being put on the market to reach consumers. Alongside traditional baked and snow-skin mooncakes in flavors such as mixed nuts, mung bean and coconut flakes from brands including Kinh Do, Huu Nghi, Bibica and Omeli, many other varieties are also available to meet increasingly diverse consumer demand.

According to retailers, purchasing demand has tended to increase slightly during the September 2 holiday, as people take the opportunity to buy mooncakes for their families or as gifts.

Prices this year are around 5 to 10% higher than last year, mainly due to increases in the costs of ingredients, labor, and packaging.
