On November 14, the Education and Training Division of Thai Nguyen City held the science and technology competition opening ceremony for secondary school students. Leaders, teachers, and 106 8th and 9th grade students from 37 secondary schools in the city attended the competition.

The academic year 2023-2024 marks the 11th year that the Education and Training Division of Thai Nguyen City has organized the Science the competition for high school students.
Students presented their team's projects and presented the feasibility and practicality of 54 projects in the following field groups: Social and behavioral sciences; Physics and astronomy, materials science, mechanical engineering, environmental engineering; Chemistry and Chemistry - Biology, Medicine, Biomedicine and health sciences; embedded systems, system software, robots and intelligent machines.

It is known that in the 2022-2023 school year, Thai Nguyen City Education and Training Division has achieved excellent results at the provincial science and technology competition, with 1 first prize, 4 second prizes, 5 third prizes, 1 fourth prize, in which 1 project participated in the national competition and won the "Promising project" award.
