Gifts presented to officers, soldiers and residents in Truong Sa Special Zone

From May 14 to 20, Working Delegation No.17 of the Naval Service conducted a visit to encourage officers, soldiers, and residents in the Truong Sa Special Zone and DK1 platforms. Thai Nguyen Province sent 29 delegates to join the mission.

During the trip, localities, agencies, and businesses presented many practical gifts to officers, soldiers, and residents stationed on islands and offshore platforms, with a total value of more than VND 1.4 billion.

The gifts were carefully prepared to suit the living and working conditions in remote maritime areas, helping boost morale and improve the material life of military personnel and residents at sea.

On this occasion, the delegation also donated VND 9 billion to the Naval Service for the construction of facilities in the Truong Sa archipelago, including VND 1 billion contributed by Thai Nguyen Province.

The gifts and sentiments from the mainland reflected care and solidarity with the people and forces in Truong Sa, helping strengthen the determination of officers and soldiers to firmly safeguard the nation’s sacred maritime sovereignty.
