“80 Years – A Humanitarian Journey for the Community” is the theme of Humanitarian Month 2026, officially launched by the provincial Red Cross Society on April 22.

At the launching ceremony, the provincial Red Cross Society received support from 55 agencies, organizations, and individuals, with a total value of VND 7.7 billion, aimed at assisting disadvantaged and vulnerable groups across the province.
As part of the program, the Organizing Committee provided funding to build 10 “Humanitarian Houses” for households in Dong Hy Commune and Linh Son Ward; offered livelihood support to 10 households in Phu Binh Commune at VND 5 million per household; granted “humanitarian sponsorship” funding to seven disadvantaged students at VND 18 million per student per year; and provided additional support to three outstanding students at VND 5 million per student per year. Twenty bicycles were also presented to students who have overcome hardship and achieved good academic results.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Dinh Quang Tuyen, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, called on agencies, units, organizations, the business community, and philanthropists to continue their support and join hands in the “80 Years – A Humanitarian Journey for the Community,” helping care for vulnerable people and those facing difficulties, while spreading compassion and humanitarian values throughout society.
