17th National Radio Festival opens in Quang Ninh

On the evening of April 11, at the Square of October 30 in Ha Long Ward, Quang Ninh Province, the opening ceremony of the 17th National Radio Festival, combined with the art program “Sounds of a New Era,” attracted around 50,000 attendees. The event was jointly organized by the Voice of Vietnam and the People’s Committee of Quang Ninh Province.

This year’s festival, themed “Radio for a Strong and Prosperous Vietnam,” brings together 34 press and radio-television agencies, featuring nearly 350 works across various genres. Notably, nearly 100 podcast entries reflect a strong digital transformation trend, reaffirming the ability of modern radio to reach audiences across multiple platforms.

The 17th National Radio Festival takes place from April 9 to 13, 2026, featuring a range of activities such as professional workshops, networking exchanges, and specialized programs, helping to further deepen the core issues of modern radio.

At the festival, Thai Nguyen Newspaper and Radio-Television participates with nine works in categories including live radio, thematic podcasts, news podcasts, thematic reports, specialized radio programs, and ethnic language programs.
