Following the survey, the Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee requested specialized agencies to comprehensively review infrastructure and carefully assess the current situation to develop a scientific traffic organization plan to minimize congestion, particularly at intersections prone to conflicts, while maximizing the use of existing space.
He emphasized that the traffic organization plan must be developed in conjunction with urban revitalization efforts and fully leverage the infrastructure that has already been implemented.
He also requested that relevant agencies promptly develop a 3D model and illustrative video clips of the proposed spatial and traffic organization plan to help residents and businesses better visualize the plan and build consensus during implementation. The specific proposal is expected to be reported next week.
Regarding urban planning and infrastructure development, the Chairman assigned the Department of Construction to complete adjustments to the general plan for the central urban area by June 30. By April 30, relevant units must submit a comprehensive implementation plan for the central area flood prevention project, linked to urban revitalization and integrated with the dike upgrade project for flood control.
The field survey and on-site direction demonstrate the province’s determination to innovate planning thinking, effectively utilize resources, and create a breakthrough in developing the central urban area in a modern, synchronized, and sustainable direction.
