Awarding Ceremony of Competitions at “Thai Nguyen – Fragrance and Beauty of Famous Tea” Festival

On the evening of December 20, at Vo Nguyen Giap Square, the Organizing Committee of the 2025 “Thai Nguyen – Fragrance and Beauty of Famous Tea” Festival held a summary and award ceremony for the festival’s competitions and presented the proceeds from tea bidding to the Thai Nguyen Province Fund for the Poor.

At the program, the Organizing Committee awarded the winners of the writing contest “A Century of the Premier Famous Tea”, launched by the Thai Nguyen Provincial People’s Committee in February 2025, to 12 outstanding authors.

The “Golden Hands in Tea Processing” competition took place from December 14 to 20 at two locations: Cau Da Tea Hill in La Bang Commune and Tan Cuong Commune. The Organizing Committee awarded two First Prizes, two Second Prizes, and two Third Prizes to the most outstanding teams from the two localities.

The “Best Display Booth” competition was held at Vo Nguyen Giap Square. The First Prize went to the Tan Cuong Tea Cultural Space (Tan Cuong Commune); the Second Prize to the Trai Cai Tea Cultural Space (Dong Hy Commune); and the Third Prize to the Bang Phuc Tea Cultural Space (Dong Phuc Commune).

In the Photo Marathon competition, the First Prize was awarded to Tran Van Sinh for his work “Thai Nguyen – Fragrance and Beauty of Famous Tea”. In addition, 1 First Prize, 2 Second Prizes, 5 Third Prizes, 5 Consolation Prizes, and 3 Special Prizes were awarded to works and authors with creative and emotionally rich perspectives.

Notably, during the program, the Organizing Committee donated 418 million VND, representing the total proceeds from the bidding of 100g of bud tea and 100g of leaf tea, to the Thai Nguyen Province Fund for the Poor, supporting disadvantaged households in preparation for the traditional Lunar New Year.
