Ensuring a safe and lawful election

On the morning of March 1, Mr. Trinh Xuan Truong, Secretary of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Provincial Election Steering Committee, led a working delegation to inspect election preparations in the two mountainous communes of Nghinh Tuong and Sang Moc.

During on-site inspections at polling stations, the Provincial Party Secretary acknowledged the proactive and responsible spirit of the commune-level Election Committees in implementing tasks in line with procedures and closely following guidance from both central and provincial authorities, while ensuring the legally required timelines.

Key tasks, including the public posting of candidate and voter lists, preparation of facilities, security and public order plans, as well as communication and promotional activities toward election day, have been carried out seriously and in a coordinated manner.

Emphasizing the political significance of the election, Mr. Trinh Xuan Truong instructed local Party committees and authorities to remain vigilant and avoid complacency, and to carefully review all procedures, especially at polling stations located far from central areas and in difficult terrain.

He also called for stronger communication efforts to help voters fully understand their rights and civic responsibilities, while preparing comprehensive contingency plans for personnel, logistics, security, and transportation. This is to ensure that election day is conducted in a democratic, lawful, and safe manner, and truly becomes a festival of the entire people.
