Thai Nguyen Province National Assembly Deputation meets voters after the 10th Session of the 15th National Assembly

Recently, the National Assembly Deputation of Thai Nguyen Province held a conference to meet voters following the 10th Session of the 15th National Assembly for the 2021–2026 term. The conference was conducted both in-person and online, connecting to 67 sites in communes and wards across the province.

Reporting to voters on the outcomes of the 10th Session, Ms. Doan Thi Hao, Deputy Head in charge of the National Assembly Deputation of Thai Nguyen Province, emphasized that after 40 days of urgent, serious, scientific, and highly responsible work, the 10th Session completed all agenda items.

The session adopted an unprecedented volume of laws and resolutions for a single sitting, carried out supreme oversight, decided on many important national issues, and concluded the review of the 2021–2026 term. Contributing to the overall success of the 15th National Assembly was the clear and significant imprint of the National Assembly Deputation of Thai Nguyen Province.

At the conference, voters expressed their satisfaction and confidence in the important results of the 10th Session. They also submitted recommendations to central authorities and the Ministry of National Defense to promptly study and improve the organization and staffing of local military forces in line with the two-tier local government model; strengthen the capacity of the military at Commune-level; and pay attention to land allocation and investment in social housing and official housing for officers and soldiers of the armed forces.

Voters further proposed expanding policies for people with meritorious services under the Prime Minister’s Decision 62; promptly addressing obstacles to Phase 2 of the Thai Nguyen Iron and Steel Project; and making comprehensive investments in irrigation systems, flood prevention, and enhanced disaster response capacity. Representatives exchanged views, clarified relevant issues, and responded to voters’ opinions.

On this occasion, on behalf of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense, General Phan Van Giang presented nine gift packages to collectives of Thai Nguyen Province and 200 gift packages to exemplary policy beneficiary families in the province.
