In a solemn and emotional atmosphere, delegates respectfully offered flowers and incense, expressing their profound gratitude to the 60 youth volunteer martyrs of Company 915 who heroically sacrificed their lives on Christmas Eve, December 24, 1972, while carrying out the mission of transporting military supplies in support of the Southern battlefield.
Their noble sacrifice has become an immortal symbol of revolutionary heroism and of the spirit of “willing to sacrifice for the Fatherland to live on”, embodied by the Vietnamese youth generation during the resistance war against the U.S.
Before the spirits of the heroic youth volunteer martyrs of Company 915, the delegation of Thai Nguyen Province pledged to carry forward the revolutionary tradition, uphold the spirit of unity and self-reliance, and continuously strive to build Thai Nguyen into an increasingly prosperous and civilized homeland, worthy of the tremendous sacrifices made by previous generations.
