Olympic Run Day for Public Health – For National Security

On the morning of March 22, at Van Xuan Square (Van Xuan Ward), the Provincial People’s Committee organized the launching ceremony for the Olympic Run Day for Public Health – For National Security, in conjunction with the 2026 Tien Phong Cross-Country and Mass Running Event of Thai Nguyen Province.

This year’s Olympic Run Day attracted nearly 8,000 participants. Immediately after the launching ceremony, delegates, armed forces, university students, school pupils, and a large number of local residents joined the run in response to the Olympic Run Day for Public Health – For National Security.

This year, the Tien Phong Cross-Country and Mass Running Event in Thai Nguyen drew more than 800 athletes competing in categories including the 200-meter mass run and individual and team cross-country events for both men and women.

The competition was assessed as having high professional quality, with many young athletes participating, demonstrating strong training spirit and thorough preparation.

The organizing committee awarded 9 first prizes, 9 second prizes, and 27 consolation prizes for individual and team cross-country events; and 3 first prizes, 3 second prizes, and 6 third prizes for the mass running category.
