Following the 2026 Lunar New Year holiday, travel demand has increased as workers, pupils, and students return to work and study. Passenger transport services across the province have remained stable, promptly meeting people’s travel needs.

At Thai Nguyen Bus Station, about 420 vehicles are currently registered for operation. On February 21, there were 327 departures, while approximately 350 departures were recorded on February 22.
Transport operators have proactively increased trip frequency, arranged backup vehicles, and flexibly regulated services during peak hours to minimize congestion and ensure timely service for passengers.
According to the Thai Nguyen Provincial Department of Construction, during the Lunar New Year holiday, 11 bus stations across the province handled 4,890 departures, serving more than 97,000 passengers. No complaints were recorded regarding overloading or unlawful fare increases.
For bus services, Ha Lan Trading and Tourism Joint Stock Company maintained 300 vehicles in operation from the second day of the Lunar New Year, with passenger numbers increasing by about 20% compared to the same period last year.
With the proactive coordination of authorities and transport enterprises, post-holiday travel activities in the province have been safe, smooth, and free from overcrowding.
