The industrial sector is expected to see a GRDP growth rate of 6.28 percent for the second quarter and 5.72 percent for the first six months of 2024.

The strong increase in Thai Nguyen's GRDP for the second quarter and the first half of 2024 is attributed to the growth in total product value across various sectors: agriculture, forestry, and fisheries; industry and construction; and services. Among these, the service sector is estimated to grow the most, with an increase of 9.02 percent in the second quarter and 7.19 percent in the first six months. This is followed by the industrial and construction sectors, with corresponding increases of 6.55 percent and 5.99 percent, and the agriculture, forestry, and fisheries sectors, which grew by 3.46 percent and 3.71 percent.

The estimated results show that Thai Nguyen is one of the provinces with the country's highest economic GRDP growth rates. This result reflects the efforts and management of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee, as well as the business community and the people in the province.
