Woman Korea Corporation explores investment opportunities in Thai Nguyen

Mrs. Nguyen Thi Loan, Vice Chairwoman of the Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee, recently hosted a meeting with a delegation from the National Barcode Center and Woman Korea Corporation (South Korea).

During the meeting, the Vice Chairwoman provided an overview of the province's socio-economic development, as well as its investment potential and competitive advantages. She highlighted tea as Thai Nguyen's key agricultural product, noting that the province has been actively applying science and technology to tea cultivation, processing and export.

Representatives of Woman Korea Corporation expressed their appreciation for the warm reception and introduced the company's operations and technologies aimed at improving crop productivity while reducing environmental impacts.

Following its research, the company expressed interest in launching pilot projects in Thai Nguyen, including technologies to reduce methane emissions from rice cultivation and the use of tea in cosmetic production.

Concluding the meeting, the Vice Chairwoman assigned relevant departments and agencies to work closely with the company and the Thai Nguyen Tea Association to facilitate research and pilot implementation of these technologies across the province.

She also encouraged Woman Korea Corporation to explore the application of its technologies to other specialty crops in Thai Nguyen in the coming time.
