In May 2023, DBG Technology, a terminal device manufacturing plant with a capacity of 30 million products per year, was officially inaugurated at Yen Binh Industrial Park in Thai Nguyen Province. The company is one of China’s high-tech enterprises and ranks among the world’s top 50 electronics manufacturing services providers.
After more than two years of operation, the factory has achieved full export production, with export value exceeding USD 4.5 billion. Annual revenue is estimated at around USD 110 million, contributing approximately USD 1.4 million per year to the state budget, while recruiting and training nearly 15,000 workers.
Mr. Wu Zouziang, General Director of DBG Technology (Vietnam) Co., Ltd., said: “Thai Nguyen has clear advantages for investment, with well-developed infrastructure, an abundant workforce, and strong long-term development potential. We are confident in our investment in Thai Nguyen and highly appreciate the favorable business environment here”.
Alongside many companies manufacturing and exporting electronic devices and components, supporting vendors for the electronics industry have gradually expanded their market access, reaching both domestic and international partners.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Trang, Director of WEDM VINA Manufacturing and Trading JSC, noted: “In the past, we worked as second- and third-tier vendors for foreign companies producing molds and electronic components. In 2026, we became a vendor for Korean and Japanese enterprises. The volume of work is significant, and the business is growing rapidly”.
The development of the electronics industry is reflected not only in growth figures but also in the daily lives of workers. Many farmers have become factory workers in modern production environments, earning stable monthly incomes ranging from 10 to 20 million VND.
“I have been working at the company for about two years. My current income is around 20 million VND per month, which is enough to support my life," said Nguyen Xuan Duc, a worker at WEDM VINA Manufacturing and Trading JSC.

To achieve such strong growth, Thai Nguyen has continuously invested in infrastructure and improved its investment and business environment. Convenient transport links connecting the province with Hanoi and major economic centers, along with administrative reform efforts, have created a strong appeal for investors.
Mr. Nguyen Tien Cuong, Deputy Director of the Thai Nguyen Department of Industry and Trade, said: “The electrical and electronics sector in industrial parks across Thai Nguyen has made remarkable progress, becoming a key industry and playing an important role in the province’s economic growth. The province prioritizes attracting high-tech, environmentally friendly electronics projects that generate high added value. As a result, industrial parks have not only expanded in scale but have also developed in depth, gradually improving competitiveness in both domestic and international markets".
Today, Thai Nguyen has risen to become a regional center for electronics manufacturing. Production lines not only generate economic value but also create employment opportunities and improve living standards for hundreds of thousands of local people. And on this development journey, the electronics industry will continue to serve as a vital driving force, helping Thai Nguyen advance further on Vietnam’s industrial map.
