The meeting discussed the progress of site clearance and infrastructure investment for industrial park projects funded by the state budget; seven industrial parks financed by non-state capital; and the site clearance plans for industrial parks in the coming time.
The discussion also included the requirement to complete compensation and site clearance for agricultural land before June 30, 2026, as directed by the Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee.
Participants also focused on addressing difficulties faced by 14 industrial clusters related to compensation, resettlement, and land procedures; two projects involving legal procedures; and two projects facing obstacles due to planning issues.
In his concluding remarks, the Provincial Party Secretary emphasized that Thai Nguyen has planned 38 industrial parks and 74 industrial clusters. However, the Party Committee of the provincial People’s Committee must direct the provincial People’s Committee and relevant departments and agencies to calculate, review, compile lists, and propose investments in industrial parks and clusters according to a roadmap aligned with the province’s overall socio-economic development strategy.
He added that the Standing Board of the Provincial Party Committee will provide leadership and guidance on investment priorities and resource allocation in the 2026–2030 medium-term public investment plan (at both provincial and commune levels), particularly for resettlement area construction projects and technical infrastructure projects connecting to industrial parks and clusters, to create favorable conditions for attracting investment.
