To date, the construction of the Data Repository and the Intelligent Operations Center in Thai Nguyen has achieved significant progress. The Thai Nguyen Department of Science and Technology has conducted on-site surveys at six units while developing templates for collecting information and data to be sent to departments and agencies.
Based on 68 available information systems and databases, the department has coordinated with Viettel Thai Nguyen to review and select key datasets for integration into the shared repository. Several databases have been standardized, and the technical infrastructure and servers at the provincial data center have been installed and are ready for operation.
The IOC control room has also been fully equipped. A virtual assistant platform is being prepared for integration to support officials, civil servants, and digital applications.
Concluding the meeting, the Vice Chairwoman requested relevant units to continue coordination and accelerate progress, aiming to pilot the Data Repository by mid-March. Data groups that have not yet been completed need to be standardized to meet the criteria of being “accurate, sufficient, clean, up-to-date, unified, and shared,” while proactively arranging and supplementing specialized personnel to ensure system operation and data updates.
