Accelerating land clearance at Yen Binh 2 Industrial Park

Recently, Mr. Bui Van Luong, Standing Vice Chairman of the Thai Nguyen Provincial People’s Committee, chaired a meeting to review the progress of compensation, support, and resettlement for the investment project on the construction and business of infrastructure at Yen Binh 2 Industrial Park.

The project covers a land area of more than 299 hectares and is being implemented in Pho Yen and Van Xuan wards and Diem Thuy commune, directly affecting more than 1,750 households.

At the meeting, representatives of localities and relevant units reported on and proposed several issues related to site clearance work. Overall, land inventory and compensation activities have been carried out smoothly, receiving a high level of consensus from residents. Difficulties and obstacles arising during implementation were also discussed, with solutions proposed to address them.

In his concluding remarks, Mr. Bui Van Luong requested the Provincial Land Fund Development Center to continue close coordination with local authorities to complete the inventory of agricultural land and other land types, and to proceed with compensation payments by January 2026. Site handover must be conducted in line with the principle of “handover where construction is ready to proceed,” to ensure the overall progress of the project.
