Opening of the "Thai Nguyen - Fragrance and Beauty of Famous Tea" Festival

On the evening of December 19, at Vo Nguyen Giap Square in Thai Nguyen Province, the opening ceremony of the “Thai Nguyen - Fragrance and beauty of famous tea" Festival was held. Attending the opening were General Phan Van Giang, Minister of National Defense; Mr. Le Minh Hoan, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly; and Mr. Bui Thanh Son, Deputy Prime Minister.

The main festival space at Vo Nguyen Giap Square highlights the distinctive characteristics of the province’s five renowned tea-growing regions. The festival space also interweaves with representative tea culture spaces from countries with long-standing and distinctive tea traditions such as China and Japan, as well as famous tea-growing regions across Viet Nam.

The event features the participation of a large number of artisans, international tea ceremony groups, businesses, and artistic troupes. The festival brings together the essence of tea culture, honors its values, and spreads pride in Vietnamese tea in general and Thai Nguyen tea in particular.
