Thai Nguyen ranks 4th in the country in terms of export turnover in 2022

To date, Thai Nguyen has planned 41 industrial clusters with a total area of 2,067 hectares. Of these, 14 industrial clusters have been put into operation, attracting 64 projects and creating jobs for more than 11,100 workers. 21 out of 41 industrial clusters have infrastructure investors and are being implemented, with about 5,701 billion VND of registered capital for infrastructure investment.

On April 20, Samsung Vietnam celebrated the 10th Anniversary of Samsung Electronics Vietnam Thai Nguyen (SEVT), and received the Third Class Labor Medal.

April 18th, 2023 - Masan High-Tech Materials (HNX-UpCOM: MSR, “Masan High -Tech Materials”, “MHT” or “Company”) organized its Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2023 with the theme of ‘Growth through Sustainability’ in Ha Noi. At the AGM, Chief Executive Officer of MHT, Craig Richard Bradshaw shared: “Masan High-Tech Materials had a year of challenges, overcoming market fluctuations and impacts of various factors in the region and the world. Though Tungsten revenues and tungsten scrap recycling rates were significantly higher, contributing to delivering FY2022 record revenue”.

12 April 2023 - Masan High-Tech Materials Corporation (“Masan High-Tech Materials” or “MHT”) has announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (“MOU”) with EQ Resources Limited (“EQR”), and its existing joint venture partner, Cronimet Australia Pty Ltd (“Cronimet”) related to the Mt Carbine Tungsten Project in Far North Queensland, Australia. The MOU will establish a working relationship based on reciprocity and mutual benefit, exchanging knowledge and experiences around tungsten exploration, mining, and processing, potentially assessing new project opportunities, and new product applications.

As of the end of March 2023, the province had 363 businesses join and re-join the market, a decrease of 12.1 percent compared to the same period in 2022.

According to the General Department of Customs data, Thai Nguyen province ranks 3rd among top localities with the highest total export turnover in February 2023.
