At the meeting, the two sides discussed three areas with strong potential for cooperation, including the development of high-tech agriculture; agriculture combined with tourism and services; and the establishment of cross-border e-commerce channels to help Thai Nguyen agricultural products gain deeper access to the Chinese market.
Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Loan expressed her desire to cooperate with Chinese businesses in technology transfer, development of raw material areas, processing, preservation and consumption of high-quality agricultural products with high added value. Alongside production development, she asked the VCBC to support the establishment of modern distribution channels and bring Thai Nguyen products onto cross-border e-commerce platforms; study the establishment of a dedicated provincial store and the possibility of connecting with Sinopec's network of more than 28,000 stores. She also respectfully invited the VCBC and Chinese businesses to attend the 2026 Thai Nguyen International Tea Festival.
Mr. Bui Van Tuan, Chairman of the VCBC, affirmed that the council is ready to leverage its network of eight offices in China to support product promotion, market connections and the introduction of suitable partners for Thai Nguyen businesses. Immediately after the meeting, Chinese businesses will work directly with Thai Nguyen enterprises involved in the production, processing and distribution of agricultural products to turn each area of cooperation into specific activities, contributing to deepening cooperation between Thai Nguyen and Chinese businesses in a practical, effective and mutually beneficial manner.
