In his remarks at the program, Chairman Vuong Quoc Tuan stressed that housing development is an important foundation for promoting socio-economic growth. According to the planning orientations, Thai Nguyen is expected to develop 37 industrial parks with a total area of around 18,000 hectares, leading to a rapid increase in the province’s population. On that basis, the province is developing a new housing development program aligned with the development space and the market’s absorption capacity. The proposed direction is to develop both commercial and social housing in sync, meeting the diverse needs of residents and the workforce.

During the program, participants discussed some difficulties and recommended that the province continue improving mechanisms and policies, establish an official information channel for projects, create more favorable conditions for access to credit, and accelerate land clearance to create clean land reserves.

In his concluding remarks, Chairman Vuong Quoc Tuan affirmed that the province will continue promoting the “60% green lane” mechanism for social housing projects, allowing investment and planning procedures to be carried out in parallel to shorten implementation time. He also noted that the province will study improvements to financial mechanisms and credit policies, and maintain regular dialogue channels to promptly address difficulties.
