In the first quarter of 2026, the global situation continued to evolve in a complex manner, posing numerous challenges to international integration efforts. Domestically, macroeconomic stability created favorable conditions for attracting investment and expanding cooperation. In Thai Nguyen, international economic integration activities have achieved many positive results. The province currently has 239 valid FDI projects with total registered capital exceeding 17 billion USD. Export turnover in the first quarter reached over 9.7 billion USD, maintaining steady growth momentum. The province continues to step up investment promotion, expand international cooperation, develop a green economy, accelerate digital transformation, and enhance the value of key products.
In his concluding remarks, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh called for strengthened international solidarity and proactive participation in cooperation mechanisms to mobilize resources for development. He also requested improvements in the quality of international economic integration in support of the goal of achieving double-digit growth, while promoting cooperation in science and technology, innovation, digital transformation, green transition, and human resource training.
