Resolving obstacles for Prime Pho Yen Floor Tile Factory

On March 11, Mr. Bui Van Luong, Standing Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Thai Nguyen Province, chaired a meeting to review and address obstacles related to the operation and expansion of the Prime Pho Yen Floor Tile Factory Project.

The floor tile factory project of Prime Pho Yen Joint Stock Company was granted an investment certificate in 2007. During its operation, the enterprise compensated and cleared 23,503 square meters of land within the planned boundary for factory expansion and has fulfilled the related financial obligations. However, procedures for land allocation for this area have not yet been completed, causing difficulties for the company in expanding workshops and increasing production capacity.

At the meeting, the company’s representative proposed that the province consider updating the investment registration certificate to reflect the actual project area and completing land allocation procedures for areas where compensation and site clearance have been completed, to stabilize and expand production.

Concluding the meeting, Mr. Bui Van Luong requested that relevant departments and agencies review the project scope and clarify the origin and authority of land use. The Department of Finance was assigned to take the lead, in coordination with relevant units, in advising on a handling plan to complete a report to the provincial People’s Committee before March 20.
