Officially recognizing Bang Phuc Shan Tuyet Tea Craft Village

The People’s Committee of Dong Phuc Commune recently held a ceremony to announce and present the decision recognizing Bang Phuc Shan Tuyet Tea Craft Village. This is an important milestone, acknowledging the efforts of local authorities and residents in preserving and developing the traditional craft associated with Shan Tuyet tea.

Currently, all 7 villages in the craft village are involved in tea cultivation and processing, with more than 300 hectares of tea under harvest, employing nearly 1,000 direct workers. Tea production is not only the main source of income but also a distinctive cultural feature of local ethnic communities. Notably, the locality has preserved hundreds of ancient tea trees that are hundreds of years old, creating a unique value for the product.

In the coming period, Dong Phuc Commune plans to expand raw material areas in accordance with safety standards, improve processing quality, and build the “Bang Phuc Shan Tuyet Tea” brand in connection with experiential tourism development, gradually increasing residents’ income.
