National conference on training for election software

Recently, the Office of the National Election Council held a nationwide online training conference on several aspects of the software used to support the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term. In Thai Nguyen, the conference was connected from the Provincial Election Committee’s venue to the Election Committees of 92 communes and wards.

The conference guided the use of the election support software system, focusing on updating data before election day, compiling progress reports, and monitoring and updating data within the system.

During the training, units and localities exchanged views with the presenters on potential difficulties and issues that might arise during implementation at the grassroots level. The issues raised mainly concerned data synchronization, information security, software operation, and handling certain technical errors. These matters were addressed and explained in detail, thereby improving the operational skills of the local officials involved in election work.
