Ensuring traffic safety and transport services during Lunar New Year

On February 10, a working delegation from the Thai Nguyen Provincial Department of Transport conducted an inspection of transport operations at the Central Passenger Bus Station.

According to the bus station’s report, in the period leading up to the Lunar New Year 2026, passenger volume at peak days ranges from approximately 6,000 to 7,000 passengers per day, with about 360 departures per day, an increase of around 20 departures per day compared to normal days. The delegation reviewed the development of transport service plans and operational arrangements to ensure timely responses to surging travel demand.

At the same time, the delegation focused on reviewing compliance with regulations on fare management, declaration, and public posting of fares; fire prevention and firefighting; as well as conditions to ensure safety in transport operations. The delegation requested transport business organizations and individuals to arrange a sufficient number of vehicles in accordance with their registered operations, and to step up communication and supervision of drivers and service staff to strictly comply with regulations on traffic order and safety, thereby ensuring safe and smooth passenger services.
