Reporting on the progress of land clearance and the implementation of resettlement projects serving the industrial parks in the southern area, representatives of the Provincial Industrial Parks Management Board, the Provincial Land Fund Development Center, and leaders of localities said that to date, compensation and land clearance for key projects have been carried out in line with provincial directives and have basically ensured the planned schedule. However, the development of resettlement areas still faces several difficulties and obstacles in planning and investment procedures. Localities are actively coordinating with relevant departments and agencies to resolve these issues, while accelerating land clearance, completing investment preparation procedures, and organizing construction bidding.
In his directive remarks, emphasizing the view that “time is opportunity,” Provincial Party Secretary Trinh Xuan Truong affirmed that to promote economic growth, the highest priority must be given to land clearance. From now until mid-year, the entire province must focus on clearing about 2,700 hectares of land to implement industrial parks. The task is extremely heavy, requiring the determined, synchronized involvement of the entire political system at all levels, sectors, and localities.
He noted that the development of resettlement areas is a key factor determining the progress of land clearance as well as the credibility of Party committees and authorities with the people. In the spirit of strong decentralization, resettlement areas will be assigned to communes and wards for implementation, with efforts to complete land clearance for industrial parks in the second quarter of 2026.
