Launch of voluntary blood donation campaign for Tet and Spring Festival

Recently, the Provincial Red Cross Society, in coordination with the People’s Committee of Gia Sang Ward, organized the launch ceremony of the voluntary blood donation campaign for Tet and the 2026 “Red Spring Festival,” under the theme “Donate Blood at the Beginning of Spring – Multiply Happiness.”

A large number of officials, volunteers and residents of Gia Sang Ward take part in the blood donation program.

The campaign aims to ensure blood supplies for emergency and medical treatment before, during, and after the Lunar New Year of Binh Ngo, contributing to the goal of “ensuring that no patient has to wait for blood.”

At the launch ceremony, nearly 500 officials, members, volunteers, and residents of Gia Sang Ward registered and took part in blood donation in response to the 2026 “Red Spring Festival.”

On this occasion, the Thai Nguyen Provincial Red Cross Society commended and rewarded eight individuals with outstanding contributions and achievements in voluntary blood donation programs in 2025.

The Organizing Committee also presented 20 Tet gift packages to disadvantaged households in Gia Sang Ward, each valued at VND 500,000.
