Mr. Nguyen Linh, Vice Chairman of the Thai Nguyen Provincial People’s Committee, recently chaired a conference to appraise adjustments to the Provincial Master Plan for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2050.

The orientation of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Master Plan for the 2021–2030 period, with a vision to 2050, sets the overall objectives of building synchronized and modern infrastructure; developing high-quality human resources; comprehensively improving people’s living standards; and building the province into a modern industrial center with upper-middle income before 2030, striving to become a developed, high-income province before 2045. The master plan includes 35 key indicators.
The province has identified a focus on breakthrough areas, including: developing synchronized and modern infrastructure to serve socio-economic development; prioritizing transport, power, development of industrial parks and clusters, trade, services, tourism, and urban development linked with the development of the Ha Noi Capital Region; developing education and training, science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation across all fields; promoting start-up support and the development of the private economy as an important driving force; and mobilizing, managing, and effectively using investment resources.
At the conference, the Appraisal Council and experts raised some opinions and recommendations regarding adjustments to the Provincial Master Plan.
Delegates conducted a vote and agreed to approve the Thai Nguyen Provincial Master Plan for the 2021–2030 period, with a vision to 2050. However, the Council requested that the specialized agencies continue to review, revise, and finalize many contents to ensure consistency, practicality, and feasibility.
