Accelerating progress of waste treatment projects combined with power generation

Recently, Mr. Bui Van Luong, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, chaired a meeting to hear reports and provide guidance on the implementation of the waste treatment and power generation project at the Da Mai waste treatment area in Tan Cuong Commune and the waste treatment site in Phuc Thuan Ward.

At the meeting, specialized agencies reported on the implementation of tasks assigned by the Provincial People’s Committee in previous conclusion notices of the Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, focusing on clarifying the current status, progress, and implementation orientation of waste treatment projects combined with power generation in the locality.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee requested Tan Cuong Commune and Phuc Thuan Ward to seriously absorb the feedback, closely coordinate with relevant departments and agencies to urgently complete project proposal dossiers, ensuring they are practical and meet requirements on capacity, scale, scope, technology, and investor selection, and fully comply with legal procedures. He emphasized the need to focus on resolving difficulties and obstacles in site clearance, accelerate the progress of projects currently underway in Phuc Thuan Ward, mobilize the entire political system, and step up communication and advocacy through various forms to build public consensus and support.
