Preparations underway for "Thai Nguyen - Fragrance and beauty of famous tea" Festival

On December 1, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Loan, Vice Chairman of the Thai Nguyen Provincial People’s Committee, chaired a meeting to prepare the spatial design plan for the "Thai Nguyen - Fragrance and beauty of famous tea" Festival.

The festival will be held over three days, from December 19 to 21, at Võ Nguyên Giáp Square, connecting satellite sites including Hao Dat Tea Cooperative in Tan Cuong Commune and tea hills in La Bang Commune. The event will feature five cultural tea experience zones representing the province’s five most famous teas.

The meeting discussed in detail the talk shows, the locations of the tea culture spaces at different sites, and emphasized the need for a comprehensive plan for the artistic programs during the festival.

Concluding the meeting, the Vice Chairman instructed the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to complete the main space design at Vo Nguyen Giap Square promptly. Tan Cuong and La Bang communes are to carefully prepare display spaces to promote and showcase tea and key agricultural products, and organize side activities of the festival. The Provincial Cooperative Alliance will continue coordinating with the Department of Industry and Trade, the Department of Agriculture and Environment, and local People’s Committees to invite businesses and cooperatives from within and outside the province to participate in exhibiting and promoting local OCOP products.
