This is the final Great Solidarity House completed under the roadmap to eliminate makeshift and dilapidated housing in Hung Son Town - contributing to the locality’s early achievement of the nationwide campaign “Joining Hands to Eliminate Makeshift and Dilapidated Housing by 2025,” initiated by the Prime Minister.
At the handover ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong - Mr. Hiep’s wife emotionally shared: “I never imagined there would be a day when my family could live in such a solid, spacious house. Without the support of Nui Phao Company and the local authorities, my husband and I couldn’t have done this on our own. Now that we have a proper home, we are determined to overcome hardships, take better care of our children, and strive to escape poverty.”

Recognizing the noble gesture of the company, Mr. Tran Quang Dang - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Town Party Committee and Chairman of the People’s Council of Hung Son expressed: “Nui Phao not only actively participates in the movement to eliminate makeshift and dilapidated houses, but also consistently accompanies the locality in livelihood development, infrastructure building, social welfare, and economic growth.”
With the motto “sustainable development tied to social responsibility,” Nui Phao has supported the construction and repair of 15 Great Solidarity Houses in Dai Tu District, with a total funding of nearly VND 400 million.
Each Great Solidarity House is not only a shelter from the sun and rain, but also a place where hope is sown, giving strength to struggling families to confidently move forward, gradually changing their lives.
As of now, Dai Tu District has completed 100% of its plan to eliminate makeshift and dilapidated housing as of February 26, 2025 - three months ahead of the provincial target and eight months earlier than the Government’s goal. In this proud achievement, there is a strong mark of the joint efforts of responsible and compassionate businesses like Nui Phao.
The family of Mr. Nguyen Van Hiep includes four members: he works as a day laborer with unstable income; his wife is a production worker at the MTC Factory. Together, they care for his disabled father and raise two young children who are still in school. Their old house, built in 1998, had severely deteriorated. The new home is a solid, fully enclosed structure with three bedrooms, a kitchen, and a bathroom, totaling 77 square meters in floor space. |
