Providing opinions on draft directives on land clearance

On the morning of February 13, Mr Nguyen Huy Dung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee, chaired the 2nd meeting of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee to discuss various topics. Notably, the draft Directive on enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of compensation and land clearance work was reviewed, aiming to implement the provincial planning and promote investment attraction effectively.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the 2nd meeting of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee.

The opinions focused on urging the drafting agency to emphasize three critical points: First, the compensation and land clearance work must ensure progress, processes, and responsibilities; second, the district-level Party Committees and local governments are fully responsible for the compensation and land clearance work; and third, the advisory agencies must promptly resolve difficulties and obstacles in the compensation and land clearance process, with clear timelines for resolution and the necessity of issuing this directive.

In his concluding remarks, Comrade Nguyễn Huy Dũng emphasized that compensation and land clearance are critical tasks for the province's economic development and achieving double-digit growth. The Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee must actively and proactively assist the Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Bureau in decisively leading and directing the implementation of this task. The advisory work must review documents, identify new points not previously addressed, evaluate difficulties and obstacles, and propose recommendations for issues beyond their authority.

Mr. Dang Xuan Truong, a Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee spoke at the meeting.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that the key task of compensation and land clearance is to help accelerate the progress of major projects and industrial zones within the province to enhance the effectiveness of investment attraction.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged and praised the Department of Natural Resources and Environment for actively and proactively assisting in implementing Plan No. 21 of the Provincial People's Committee. He also tasked the leadership of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to incorporate the opinions from the meeting to finalize the relevant documents.
