Exchanging and promoting cooperation on green growth and clean energy in Australia

During the visit and working trip to Australia (from February 24 to 28), on February 25, Mr. Trinh Viet Hung, the Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, led a delegation from Thai Nguyen province to visit and work at the Parliament House and the Consulate General of Vietnam to New South Wales. The delegation included Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders from several departments, sectors, localities, and businesses from Thai Nguyen province.

The delegation of Thai Nguyen province visited and worked in New South Wales.

In a meeting with Member of Parliament Ron Hoenig, Minister for Local Government, Leader of the Lower House in the New South Wales Legislative Council, Deputy Chair of the New South Wales Executive Council, the leaders of Thai Nguyen shared the province’s potential and advantages.

Representatives of the New South Wales government welcomed and worked with the delegation.

Mr. Trinh Viet Hung emphasized the desire to connect and exchange more experiences in the field of green transformation, creating clean energy, and mechanisms and policies to attract domestic and international private investors to Thai Nguyen.

Representatives of the New South Wales government provided suggestions based on successful models in the state for generating clean energy and promoting green transformation. Notably, strategic planning is very important, alongside open policies to achieve the goal of creating green spaces in the shortest time possible.
