Bringing OCOP products to e-commerce platforms

Following Resolution No. 01/NQ-TU of the Provincial Party Executive Committee and Plan No. 80/KH-UBND of the Provincial People's Committee regarding the Digital Transformation Program, various departments, sectors, and localities have intensified their support for enterprises, cooperatives, and production and business households to embrace and utilize digital platforms.

As a result, OCOP products have now been present on the province's electronic commerce platforms. The supported digital platforms include integrated business management platforms, accounting software for small and medium-sized enterprises, electronic invoicing software, digital signature services, restaurant management software, store management software, and accounting service platforms.

Thai Nguyen has developed and operates an online petroleum business management system, maintains digital industrial clusters and craft village maps, and created data management software for over 500 enterprises and cooperatives. The province has supported the introduction of typical OCOP products and rural industrial products to the electronic commerce platforms of Thai Nguyen province, as well as Voso.vn and Postmart.vn. Additionally, businesses have received advice and guidance to participate in electronic commerce platforms such as Lazada, Tiki, and Sendo.

The provincial electronic commerce platform, located at http://www.thainguyentrade.vn, is currently promoting and featuring over 2,600 products, with 173 out of 173 being OCOP products. The Department of Industry and Trade has cooperated in bringing 72 products to the Voso.vn and Postmart.vn electronic commerce platforms.
