Implementing large-scale power projects

Currently, the Northern Power Corporation is implementing several large-scale power projects in Thai Nguyen province.

 

These projects include the 110 kV Da Phuc transmission line and substation project, the 110kV Gia Sang transmission line and substation project, the 110kV Dinh Hoa transmission line and substation project, the 110kV Yen Binh 8 transmission line and substation project, and other projects for upgrading and improving the power grid.

According to the report from the relevant authorities, these projects are being implemented according to the planned schedule, with the expected completion of the power connection in 2023.

In addition, there is also the 110kV Nui Coc transmission line and substation project, which is currently being prepared for investment. The Northern Power Corporation has approved this project with a total investment of over 145 billion VND. It is scheduled to commence construction in March 2024, with a power connection expected in the first quarter of 2025.

It is known that the Provincial People's Committee is also requesting the Northern Power Corporation to promptly develop a plan for investing in the construction of 110kV substations to serve industrial parks and clusters, according to the power grid development plan on provincial planning during the period 2021-2030, towards 2050.
