Exchanging experiences in digital transformation between Thai Nguyen and Binh Phuoc

On June 13 and 14, the delegation of Binh Phuoc Provincial People's Committee led by Mrs. Tran Tuyet Minh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, visited and worked with Thai Nguyen province to exchange practical experiences in digital transformation. Mr. Le Quang Tien, Vice Chairman of Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee worked with the delegation.

At the meeting, the Vice Chairman of Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee briefly introduced the socio-economic, defense and security situation; great efforts of the province in digital transformation.

Specifically, Thai Nguyen is one of the provinces that quickly issued the Resolution to lead and comprehensively direct the digital transformation work on 3 pillars: digital government, digital economy, and digital society. Up to now, after more than 1 year implementing the Resolution, Thai Nguyen has established an Intelligent Operation Center (IOC); provided over 2,000 administrative procedures (reaching 100%) at level 4 on the online public service portal of the province; deployed applications to develop digital government and digital society such as: "C-ThaiNguyen", "ThaiNguyen ID", Electronic Party Member Handbook...

Thai Nguyen has also applied the model of "paperless meeting" to conferences of the Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee from provincial to district level; connecting online meeting rooms from province level to 9/9 districts and cities and 178/178 communes, wards and towns in the province.

The delegation of Binh Phuoc province visited the electronic One-Stop model at the Public Administration Service Center of Thai Nguyen province.

Also at the meeting, the two sides exchanged practical experiences in specific areas such as: Integrating online residential data; building "Smart City"; "Fair 4.0"; non-cash payment method in education and healthcare; experiences in people mobilization, solutions to support businesses and cooperatives in digital transformation process...

On behalf of the delegation, the Vice Chairman of Binh Phuoc Provincial People's Committee highly appreciated the achievements in socio-economic development of Thai Nguyen province, especially in the field of digital transformation. The synchronous direction and implementation of digital transformation, the comprehensive, creative and breakthrough methods of Thai Nguyen would be valuable experiences for Binh Phuoc province to learn and contribute to promoting digital transformation in the coming time, she said.
