Thai Nguyen leader works with the delegation of Thailand - Vietnam Friendship Association

On September 20th, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Vice Chairman of Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee, welcomed and worked with the delegation led by Mr. Sanan Angubolkul, the President of Thailand - Vietnam Friendship Association. 

Thai Nguyen leaders, representatives of Departments, and branches take photographs as a souvenir with delegation members.

At the meeting, the Vice Chairman introduced the potential and strengths of Thai Nguyen in socio-economic development and the results of the implementation of the key tasks in recent years.

He highly appreciated many projects sponsored by the Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA) and supported by the Embassy of Thailand in Vietnam, including the project "Sustainable community development based on Philosophy of sufficiency economy," which was implemented in Yen Lac commune (Phu Luong district).

In addition, Thai Nguyen has supported and created favorable conditions for Central Retail Group (Thailand) to implement GO! Trade Center and hypermarket project, with an area of 36,000 square meters and a total investment capital of 540 billion VND.

The two sides also discussed the implementation of local cooperation between Thai Nguyen (Vietnam) and Udonthani (Thailand). They hoped to deepen cooperation between the two provinces in the fields of culture, social security, education - training, health, investment - commerce, digital transformation, and application of 4.0 technology in various fields of social life.
