In the first seven months of 2023, 57 new cooperatives were established in the province, bringing the total number of cooperatives to 752 units.

Among the new cooperatives, 77 percent of units are in agricultural production, with the main occupations including planting, producing and processing tea; growing spices, medicinal herbs, perennial flavoring plants; livestock, and poultry... The rest are non-agricultural cooperatives in the garment industry, plywood production, construction material exploitation, accommodation and tourism services.
The localities with many newly established cooperatives are Phu Luong (12 cooperatives), Vo Nhai (11 cooperatives), Thai Nguyen (8 cooperatives), Dai Tu (9 cooperatives), and Dinh Hoa (7 cooperatives).
To promote cooperative economic development, in recent times, functional branches of the province and localities have organized ten training classes to propagate the Law on Cooperatives, guiding 80 founders on formulating operating charters and procedures for establishing new cooperatives...
In the coming time, the Provincial Cooperative Union will continue to support and connect to help cooperatives get advice, access policies, build production and business plans, investment projects, and get credit loans. At the same time, the unit will organize training to improve management and business capacity for cooperative members.
