"Transparent information - Safe consumption" is the theme of Vietnam consumer rights day, organized by Thai Nguyen Department of Industry and Trade on March 7. This activity is an open for a series of activities responding to the Vietnam consumers rights day (March 15) in the province.
At the launching ceremony, representatives of the Department of Industry and Trade, the Provincial Consumer Protection Association, and the Provincial Business Association affirmed that The COVID-19 pandemic and climate change are changing business methods and consumers nationwide and Thai Nguyen in particular. Violations of consumer rights are still complicated.
In that context, the related units have had many supportive solutions to protect the interests of consumers. In recent years, the Provincial Consumer Protection Association witnessed many positive changes: hundreds of thousands of people have been guaranteed their rights, ensuring transaction conditions, and monitoring cases of recall of unsecured products and transactions in the e-commerce platforms.
At the launching ceremony, the participants joined a bicycle parade to propagate this activity on some routes in the downtown area of the province to respond to Vietnam consumers rights day
This year, activities to respond to Vietnam's Consumer Rights Day are mainly organized in March and last until the end of May 2023.
