Offering wheelchairs to people with disabilities

On October 28, the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs coordinated with Samsung Electronics Vietnam Thai Nguyen, Samsung Electro-Mechanics Vietnam and Vietnam Children's Fund offered wheelchairs to people with with disabilities and scholarships to children in difficult circumstances in the province.

At the program, Samsung Electronics Vietnam Thai Nguyen (SEVT) gave 120 wheelchairs with a total amount of 180 million VND to disabled people and representatives of the Vietnam Children's Fund coordinated with the Provincial Children's Fund to award 130 scholarships to 130 disadvantaged children.

The program of giving wheelchairs has been implemented by Samsung Electronics Vietnam Thai Nguyen since 2016. This activity has many practical meanings, showing the spirit of mutual affection, sharing social responsibility, and supporting disadvantaged people in the community.

In the future, Samsung will pay more attention and deploy many projects to support community, for a prosperous Vietnam in general and Thai Nguyen Province in particular.
