Over the years, the military medical force has always stayed close to troops, serving in difficult and harsh areas and successfully fulfilling its mission to provide medical treatment and healthcare for both soldiers and civilians, making an important contribution to national construction and defense.

In particular, in disease prevention and control, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Military Region 1’s medical force played a core role, working closely with local health authorities to effectively implement prevention and control measures.

In disaster response, search and rescue operations, military medical officers and personnel have always been at the forefront, promptly arriving in affected areas to provide medical examinations and treatment for tens of thousands of people, helping protect the health and lives of both troops and residents in the provinces of Thai Nguyen, Cao Bang, Lang Son, and Bac Ninh.

Speaking at the gathering, Lieutenant General Truong Manh Dung, Commander of Military Region 1, called for efforts to build a comprehensively strong military medical force, improve professional capacity and medical ethics, and promote the application of science and technology and digital transformation in military healthcare. He also stressed the need to remain ready to respond to outbreaks, natural disasters, and emergencies, contributing to the image of military medical soldiers in the new era and strengthening the armed forces of Military Region 1.
