Thai Nguyen’s tourism revenue surpasses 1 trillion VND

During this year’s Culture, Sports and Tourism Week and the April 30–May 1 national holiday, Thai Nguyen Province welcomed over 1 million visitors, generating more than 1 trillion VND (approximately 40 million USD) in tourism revenue.

From April 11 to 29, the Culture, Sports and Tourism Week alone attracted 795,000 visitors and brought in 810 billion VND in revenue. During the national holiday period from April 30 to May 4, Thai Nguyen saw 235,000 tourist arrivals, a 59 percent increase year-on-year, with tourism revenue reaching 239 billion VND, up 120 percent compared to last year.

These achievements reflect a coordinated provincial effort to ensure safety, service quality, and product diversity. Authorities issued timely directives to all levels of government, tourist destinations, and service providers to maintain pricing transparency and enhance service standards.
