On the morning of April 28, Nui Phao Mining, in collaboration with Phuc Linh and Tan Linh Communes and the local Women's Unions, organized the donation of breeding cows, buffaloes, and chickens to four ethnic minority households facing particularly difficult circumstances in the area.

As of the end of 2024, Dai Tu District still had nearly 4,000 poor and near-poor households, 70% of which belong to ethnic minority groups (Cao Lan, Nung, San Chay, San Chi, etc.). In support of the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction, in 2025 Nui Phao will continue implementing its micro-livelihood support program, aiming to build sustainable and effective livestock models for extremely poor ethnic minority families.

The family of Ms. Ninh Thi Thuong (of the San Chi ethnic group) was one of the households that received a breeding cow from Nui Phao Mining. As a poor household, with her husband working far away, Ms. Thuong struggles alone to raise her two sons, who were born with congenital disabilities and intellectual impairments. "I am deeply grateful for Nui Phao’s support. It is truly a great source of hope for my family to gradually overcome hardships and improve our lives", she shared.

A healthy calf born from a breeding cow, a flock of chickens producing chicks and golden eggs – these help the indigenous not only improve their meals but also earn additional income, working their way out of poverty. Supporting livestock breeding is a practical activity under Nui Phao’s community support program, providing a "fishing rod" rather than just a “fish”, encouraging people to actively develop their economy and improve their lives sustainably.

Nui Phao Mining will continue to expand its micro-livelihood support program to Ha Thuong Commune and Hung Son Town in the coming time, with a total fund of VND 65 million. This initiative is part of the Company’s sustainable development strategy and long-term commitment to the indigenous community, making a meaningful and human-centered contribution to poverty reduction in the locality.
