On the morning of March 24, 2025, nearly 400 students from Tan Linh Secondary School took part in the “Electrical Safety and First Aid” program, marking the start of a series of awareness activities on electrical safety that Nui Phao Mining will be rolling out in schools throughout 2025.
As a company operating in a highly safety-conscious industry, Nui Phao Mining not only prioritizes the well-being of its workforce but also aims to promote electrical safety awareness within the community. Through this program, students gained practical knowledge on identifying electrical hazards, safely disconnecting power sources, and performing first aid in emergencies.

The program not only provided knowledge but also immersed students in realistic scenario simulations. Through hands-on activities, they encountered common yet overlooked electrical hazards. As they analyzed these situations, many were surprised to realize that everyday habits, such as using electrical devices with wet hands, charging and using phones simultaneously, overloading power outlets, or forgetting to turn off unused appliances-posed greater risks than they had thought. These interactive exercises deepened their understanding of electrical safety and reinforced the importance of preventive measures in daily life.

She also shared the school’s hope that similar programs will continue, not just for students but also to raise awareness among teachers.
This program is part of a broader effort by Nui Phao Mining to enhance safety education in schools across the region. The company believes that safety is not just a workplace requirement - it’s a fundamental value that should be shared and instilled throughout the community.
