"Charity Hike 2024" raises funds for children with heart disease

On the afternoon of November 4, at Cau Da village, Hoang Nong commune, Dai Tu district, Samsung Electronics Vietnam (SEVT) organized the "Charity Hike 2024" event. This event was launched to raise funds to support children with heart disease in Thai Nguyen province.

The event was attended by Mr. Trinh Viet Hung, the Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Park Sungho, CEO of Samsung Electronics Vietnam in Thai Nguyen and Bac Ninh; along with leaders from various provincial departments, sectors, and localities.

In his speech, Mr. Park Sungho shared that the "Charity Hike 2024" project carries a meaningful message: "Hike For Hope," aimed at offering dreams and hope to children with heart disease in Thai Nguyen. This is also one of SEVT's social welfare projects, which is part of the company's commitment to corporate social responsibility.

At the "Charity Hike 2024" event, Mr. Trinh Viet Hung, the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, along with the CEO of SEVT and nearly 600 employees of the company, participated in a 3-kilometer walk and experienced tea-picking on the Cau Da hill – one of the most beautiful tea hills in Đai Tu district.

Individually, Mr Trinh Viet Hung donated 75 million VND to support 15 children in the province who had financial difficulties in treating heart disease.
