Recently at the Vietnam Excellent Brand 2024 Awards Ceremony organized by Vietnam Economic Times, Masan High-Tech Materials proudly secured a position in the "Top 10 Excellent Brands—Pioneer of Innovation". This recognition underscores the Company’s steadfast commitment to research and development, which aims to foster innovations and sustainability, thereby benefiting the communities.

Towards Green Production and Circular Economy 

Recognizing technological strengths, Masan High-Tech Materials (MHT) is committed to advancing research and development efforts to harness cutting-edge technologies that promote a green and circular economy. In 2023, the R&D department launched numerous initiatives to minimize emissions and optimize production processes. MHT’s global teams focus on developing environmentally friendly products while continuously innovating processes to improve efficiency, reduce energy consumption, and convert waste into higher-value resources. 

The Company demonstrates the dedication to advanced development through an automated manufacturing network and over 105 patents applied in multiple countries. Notably, the MTC plant in Vietnam received "High-Tech Enterprise" certification from the Ministry of Science and Technology in 2023.

Culture of innovation ingrained in all aspects of operations

In 2023, MHT merged research and development units into a Global Technology and Innovation Department. This transformation allowed operations streamlining to meet future research challenges, as well as the creation of a global innovation community within the Company. MHT also successfully organized the first "Global Technology and Innovation Conference" in Vietnam, gathering experts from Vietnam, Germany, Canada, and China to discuss and develop innovative and sustainable solutions for clients. 

In 2024, the Company launched the "MHTers Initiative" competition to promote responsibility and creativity among employees, fostering a positive work environment where everyone is encouraged and empowered to reach their full potential.

The demand for tungsten is rising, largely due to its essential role in the global green transition, especially in manufacturing wind turbines, electric vehicle batteries, and solar panels.
